Helping to support local seriously ill children and their families
All funds raised will assist RMHC North Australia operations and commitment to the following programs:
Hospital-adjacent Ronald McDonald House can accommodate 24 families and up to 100 people each night
Ronald McDonald Family Retreat in Palm Cove gives families with a critically ill child or families suffering from a bereavement the chance to take time out together for a family getaway
Ronald McDonald Learning Program across North Queensland and Northern Territory allows children who have suffered serious illness to catch up on their schooling by providing access to 40hrs of free one-on-one tutoring
In-hospital Ronald McDonald Family Rooms provide the comforts of home within Townsville University Hospital & Mackay Base Hospital
Hospitality Cart in Mount Isa which provides practical support and comfort to seriously ill children and their families right on the hospital ward
