6 Ducks and a Yarn is a charity cricket match to help raise awareness of mental health in Rural and remote areas.
Recently, we have had four families within the Nebo community who used accommodations while a family member has had to seek medical treatment in Brisbane and Townsville. Families stated that Ronald McDonald house saved the added stress of finding accommodation near treating facilities, the cost of accommodation, but there was enough for all family members to stay together. The support that was shown to them was amazing and comforting.
As a community we would like to thank Ronald MacDonald house for taking good care of our community families.
