Some of you may know my youngest son Ollie has recently had to undergo surgery at the Townsville hospital.
After 9 days in hospital Ollies hand had healed enough to be released off the ward and to a room at the Ronald McDonald House.
The Ronny Mac house was like a home away from home, A lovely air conditioned room, stocked kitchen facilities, playroom, playground, library.... The lovely volunteers work hard, they even make home cooked meals and freeze them for anyone that needs one.
The estimated cost to RMHC for our 8 day stay was $1280. Our fundraising goal is to give back double this amount.
