I'll be riding through the very region that many families travel from to receive support from Ronald McDonald House Charities North Australia. Last year alone, 142 families from the Cairns & Hinterland region travelled to Townsville and stayed at Ronald McDonald House while their child received critical medical care, equating to 2,577 nightly stays!
This ride will be tough, but the challenges I will experience do not compare to the challenges that seriously ill children and their families go through every day. With your support, together we'll help make sure these challenges are just that little bit easier. Thank you for your support.
$1,120 raised can cover the costs for a Family stay at the Ronald McDonald Family Retreat in Palm Cove, which provides a week-long holiday to families with a seriously ill child, or those mourning the loss of a child
$4,800 raised can cover one month's worth of accommodation at the hospital-adjacent Ronald McDonald House for families to keep close to their sick child
$9,600 raised can cover two month's worth of accommodation at the hospital-adjacent Ronald McDonald House for families to keep close to their sick child
