McDonald's Townsville Running Festival

The annual McDonald's Running Festival incorporates the Townsville Airport Marathon, the Half Marathon, the 7 News 10km Classic, the McDonald's 2.5km Hero Run, the Townsville Bulletin 5km Junior Run, the Queensland Country Health Fund 5km Corporate Challenge, the Kennards Hire 5km Fun Run and the Marathon Relay. 

An event that captures the hearts and enthusiasm of all ages, the McDonald's Townsville Running Festival also gives back to our local community, generously supporting the over 17,500 children who's families call upon Ronald McDonald House North Australia, every single year.

In 2025, Townsville Running Festivalraised over $16,000, funding 100 nights of accommodation for families requiring emergency accommodation.
